Personal Care        Professional Quality

Yes, High Technology is in dentistry- in a big way.  Hi-tech doesn't do the dentistry, but it helps us, the provider, to be more complete and organized.

We have converted to digital x-ray. Patient diagnostic x-rays are instantly viewable on the operatory monitor and attached to the patients permanent file. Another advantage is the patients x-ray exposure is reduced by over 80% compared to conventional imaging.

In our hygiene department, we are computerized with the periodontal recording program that displays and stores your gum tissue analysis.  This system records the periodontal measurements and displays them on the monitor where the patient can see their gum tissue health.  By routinely monitoring these measurements we can retain good tissue health or become aware of areas of concern before they worsen.

Each operatory is computerized and networked.  Each patient's records can be accessed and updated and appointments made.

The main terminal in the business department assists in recording patient information, treatment provided and billing procedures.  We are able to assist you with your insurance forms and in many cases help you in determining your benefits.

Our Oral Video Cam takes video pictures inside the mouth to better show you your dental concerns.  A picture is worth a thousand words.

We have a computerized calling system that will try to remind you of your future appointment if we are unable to personally contact you the previous day.

A dental appliance called the Electro-Surge is used in tissue surgery, in many cases replacing the scalpel.  It literally "blasts" and separates cells instead of cutting.

We've worked with digital x-rays, "sand Blasters", chemical removing of decay, Electro Numbing (tens unit) and other devices that will improve dental procedures.   Some are office ready now, some need more improvement, and some don't work as professed and will be improved.

We are on the forefront of technology and will keep learning the new and improved procedures so that you the patient may benefit.

In our reception room is another hi-tech item- our 100+ year old piano.  It has been modified with a computer to be self playing.  Individual solenoid switches activate the keys with the same intensity as the player recording the selection on magnetic tape.  This piano will also record onto cassette and can be replayed with exact duplication.
